Training of QA/QC in Welding Department

QA/QC in the Welding Department plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and reliability of welded structures and components in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

This training program is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of quality assurance and quality control activities specific to welding operations. It covers the complete welding quality cycle, from material control and welding procedure qualification to inspection, testing, documentation, and final acceptance.

Quality Assurance (QA) focuses on establishing and maintaining welding quality systems, including compliance with WPS, PQR, WPQ, welding codes (ASME, AWS, ISO), documentation control, and process monitoring to prevent defects.

Quality Control (QC) emphasizes practical inspection activities such as fit-up inspection, in-process monitoring, visual inspection, dimensional checks, defect identification, and coordination with NDT methods (UT, RT, MT, PT) to ensure weld quality meets project requirements.

Our training combines theoretical instruction with hands-on practical exposure, enabling students, technicians, and engineers to develop the skills required for welding inspection, quality supervision, fabrication control, and site quality management.

This course prepares participants for roles such as Welding QC Inspector, QA/QC Engineer, Welding Supervisor, and Inspection Coordinator across industries including oil & gas, power plants, fabrication yards, construction, and manufacturing.
